Portraits of President Obama and the Obama Family by Kwaku Alston
January 17-23

We are pleased to announce a special exhibition of Kwaku Alston's portraits of President Barack Obama and a series of portraits of the Obama family shot earlier this year and during the campaign. Kwaku Alston is widely known for his portrait photography, as well as his cover and feature work for Time, The New York Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, Essence, and many other publications. The artist lives and works in Venice Beach, Los Angeles, CA. See artist's resume and image gallery. The portraits will also be on view at ManifestHope:DC (see below).
