Evan Morgan was born and raised in Hawaii but is now living in Baltimore where he recently graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a BFA in sculpture. He was raised around the arts and by sixteen he was helping build glass shops on the outer islands with his stepfather Hugh Jenkins. Glass became not only a passion but a challenge, Evan continued to blow glass through out high school, exhibiting in Hawaii Craftsmen by 1999.He has since begun to develop a small scale warm glass studio at MICA and is also the resident artist at the Washington Glass School under mentor, Tim Tate.
